The Calendar That Double-Booked the Install Crew
A client's ops coordinator booked two install jobs for the same crew, same morning, two different addresses. Nobody's fault, exactly — sales was working off one shared calendar, and scheduling had its own separate spreadsheet that updated whenever someone remembered to.
The crew found out at 7am, standing in a driveway, phone ringing. One customer got pushed a full week. Not a huge deal on its own — except it was the third time that quarter, and the client had genuinely stopped being surprised by it.
That's Leak #2 doing what it always does: two systems, each reasonable on its own, that were never actually introduced to each other.
If two people in your business booked the same resource for the same morning, how long would it take anyone to notice?
